Thankful

The temperatures hit highs today. The air smelled warm, a sign to me of Spring. I was so thankful for two strong legs, strong ankles, ok lungs, and the will to run today. After running, on my slow, cool down walk up the steep hill to my house, I realized this was what I was waiting for all Winter - to be able to run toward the light and warmth.
