Life List (a work in progress)

Maggie from Mighty Girl has inspired many to create a life list, especially after she not only posted hers, but started wracking up the cross outs on her life list.  I didn't think it was necessary to make a list as I do things I want to do when they come up...but this is a COMPLETELY delusional statement and my memory is shite. So, here's my life list.

1. Start a craft group (wherever I live)
2. Have high tea with my mom
3. Be served a Japanese tea or watch one
4. Read Moby Dick.
5. Go to Vietnam with Jason
6. Bike the Pacific coast
7. Write a book
8. Do something BIG for the library world
9. Eat sushi off a lady's body (I know, who AM I!?)
10. Take a vacation with just lady friends, somewhere with a beach
11. Read War and Peace
12. Dance in a strictly Salsa club
13. Visit Quebec City in Summer
14. Bring the Adams clan to Donegal, Ireland
15. Join Ancestry.com and begin a family genealogy
16. Create an Adams family calendar w/ birthdays, anniversaries and other imp. dates for the family
17. Hike the Knife's Edge on Katahdin with the Adams clan
18. Hike Camel's Hump with Jason and Kai
19. Meet M. Ward
20. Go to Hawaii with my mom
21. Finish my charlie harper cross stitch project
22. Camp by myself *ok if Kai is there, just no other person
23. Read something by James Joyce (maybe Ulysses?)
24. Take a self defense course
25. Photograph all the public libraries in VT Make a documentary about public libraries in the NEK
26. Cruise on the Newport Belle
27. Kayak at dusk on Brownington Pond to see the loons But should do this more often!
28. Climb all the Mt Adams in the continental US
29. Live in a house with a round room
30. Learn to speak French, at least conversationally
31. Write every day
32. Host a neighborhood bbq
33. Read all the books on the poster from Margaret Atwood
34. Write a letter to Mary Oliver
33. Record all the books I read starting from June 1, 2012 to June 1, 2013  (I read 102 books this past year, and did not beat this guy I heard on NPR, who read 150, as planned. Rats.)
35. Learn how to tie at least 3 different real bows for presents
36. Bake 100 different kinds of cookies (started in Oct) - Chewy Ginger Cookies w/ Raisins, Peanut Butter Cookies, Madelines, Browned Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies (made this batch like 4 times - it is the BEST chocolate chip cookie. ever.), Poppy Seed Cookies, Mexican Chocolate Cookies, Macadamia nut cranberry cookies (I substituted hazelnuts for macadamias as we had them on hand, good but won't do that again), Oatmeal Cranberry Cookie Bars, peanut butter thumbprint w/ mini reeses peanut butter cups, gingersnaps,
37. Find all the letterboxes in VT and NH.
38. Go to NYC and see the Rockettes.
39. Read Infinite Jest.
40. Ride the Tour de Kingdom century ride.
41. See the northern lights (from the best location and the primest time)
42. Learn to apply make-up like a real lady.
43. Ride a camel in a real desert.
44. Visit some UNIESCO World Heritage Sites
45. Visit the world's greatest libraries - Library of Congress July 14-18 2014, Vatican Library, Family History Library, Boston Public Library, New York Public Library November 13, 2016, Old City Library Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland (insert more here)
46. Get certified as a Tech Integrator (via Plymouth State)
47. Take a greek and roman mythology class/es
48. See Bjork in concert
49. Read all the books on my Kindle
50. Read all the books in my house (don't buy more!)
51. Learn to sew
52. Make a dream come true for Jason
